Official start today of my instructor course...

Today we officially started the IDC. Well, not quite, but we officially started our 'preparation' part of the IDC course. We are now all 17 'students' gathered and today we went into the water to have our initial in-water teaching skills evaluated. In the afternoon, we had a 'final-exam-like' theory test in the large classroom. I did 'pretty ok'. I still have some in-water skills I need to practice to become even better (but I scored ok for all skills). For the theory part, I think I have finally got on top of most of the theory areas, and I made one mistake out of 100 questions; not bad :-). So, I am optimistic that I can make it, but I will continue to practice. Both the practical and theoretical parts. Later on, we will also do class-room training, which I fear a little more - unless I can use powerpoint again :-). Obviously, I cannot take photos while 'teaching', so todays photo is - again - of another great 'sunset' - from yesterday. Right now it is close to sunset again here....
