Yesterday it was full moon, and today we started to see the 'left-overs' from the big party on the neighbour island here on Koh Tao. It is a scary sight. Many have burns because they tried to jump a burning rope. Others have slept on the beach and were robbed everything. Others again have tried to buy drugs from a police man - but those people we (or anyone) not see for a couple of months... Others again have the usual motobike injuries, and people just look SO tired - and so forth. I have seen this a;lmost 12 times already, and it is still kind of fun to look at people coming in from full-moon party ;o) (of course I do not see the very bad injuries since those guys are in a Bangkok hospital already - and I (or anyone) do not see the people who go to jail), so that is why it is a little bit funny...
But one good thing is that Koh Tao is now 'alive' again. During full moon it is so so quiet on Koh Tao, because all of age below 25 go to Koh Phenang for the full moon party. So it is also positive (but I guess the doctors on Koh Tao are pretty busy now ;o)
Anyway, the photos will show you the full moon, when I am eating at the beach, a few usual fire dancers on one of the beach bars - Lotus Bar.
