Almost fully 'signed off' now!

Today, together with my two Dive Con Trainee colleagues Greg and Jade, I finished two more items on the long list of things to accomplish to finalise your Dive Con training. And now I have basically only two official things left: Staying in the dive-shop for a full day (and assuring that the boats leave with all the right people and right equipment), and then I could basically have my Dive Con Day; which is basically the final practical 'exam' day; where I run a boat, make sure everything is taken care of etc. The day usually ends in a pretty wild party, where my colleagues will put me to test in several areas; often including some sort of drinking. So you could compare the latter part of this with some sort of bachelor party. And then I am basically DONE with my Dive Con! Wow, time flies. I started 22nd of February, so tomorrow it is exactly 5 weeks ago I started. Personally, I still feel I need to do a few things before getting totally ready to finish. I have not done very much dive leading yet (taking customers on a a dive, finding the way etc), so I might postpone my 'graduation' for a week or so.
Whether I will then directly continue to Dive Instructor Course, I don't know yet, but I am tempted. Instructors can much more easily get a job, and it is much better paid. Well, I don't really 'need' the money (and the course cost itself around 1500+ Euros), but as an instructor you can basically easily pay a relatively good place to live, and maybe even save a bit up for a small Holiday to Denmark once a year or so. And not least you can maybe more easily get a job afterwards. The course takes a minimum of only 9 days (but most people use more time, 2-3 weeks). We have basically done all the theory and basic stuff now, so the instructor course is mainly about 'becoming a better teacher'. But I don't know yet, but will decide within a few days :-).
