Today is my third being sick, but feeling much better than yesterday, and so so much better than 2 days ago. I have had blood tests sent to Ko Samui to check for Dengue Fever, and the results are 'negative'; it is with around 99% certainty not dengue (which would have been a bit of a disaster; requires time in hospital and in worst case leaving the area since getting Dengue two times can easily be lethal). So I am happy now.
Also happy because the contract for renting out my apartment in Denmark has been signed and the deposit has been paid. This gives of course a relief in my economy (diving is expensive also, but the majority of my expenses while being here in Thailand is for the apartment at home). I mean , in Thailand a 'house' (small bungalow) cost me around 150 Euro/1000DKK per month, but as you know finding similar prices as this in Copenhagen is slightly more difficult :-). So a happy day in many ways. Maybe I can go diving tomorrow again. But I don't want to dive until I feel totally well again (getting dizzy and fever 30 meters below water is not a situation I want to experience). So in worst case also no diving tomorrow, but then I can study instead. Almost half of becoming a Dive Con (Dive Master) is studying anyway. I have reached chapter 6 - out of approximately 12 chapters (plus some other study areas). There are 'lectures' 2-3 times a week also. Cheers for now from wonderful Koh Tao.
