Two courses passed and tax paid back :-)

Happy day again; I have now passed both the Equipment course and the Physiology courses. 95% percent correct answers in both. Actually, since we are not Padi Divemaster Trainees but SSI Dive Con trainees, we will still need to pass a full-blown all-inclusive exam in the end. But good to try the exams and see how well you do :-).
Also, today, I got a message from the Danish Tax system, and it seems like I get quite a lump of money back from last year; good news indeed; so yet another reason to be happy.
Tomorrow I will go on a full-day dive trip to some dive sites pretty far away, but then we get 3 dives in a row instead.
To become a Dive Con you need to do quite a lot of theory, with one big exam at the end, plus a lot of assisting (where you assist a Dive Instructor teaching Open Water Courses, Advanced courses, specialty courses etc). On top of this you need to practice your own teaching capabilities and pass exams for that. And finally there are a number of skills you need to master; swimming a certain distance within a time limit, doing all the underwater skills and surface skills etc. Not to mention all the other skills that are required, like being 'boatmaster' (controlling the divers overall on a boat), standing in the Dive shop for at least a couple of days etc. Well, and then you of course need to do a lot of diving; one key method to become a better diver and hence Dive Con is to dive a lot. I am still a bit away from my hundredths dive (which as mentioned before is quite special - you will be naked), but you will hear more about that in some weeks when I get there :-). I will spare you from photos, don't worry :-)
