Yesterday morning, I was at 2 dive sites; Chumphon and White Rock. On the first dive, I was for the first time leading 'paying' customers. They were 'only' certified for 18 meters, so I took them on a 40 minutes tour at around 18 meters on the Chumphon pinnacle, which is one of the best dive sites around here. And I found my way back to the buoy line with no problems. Another (graduated) Dive Master was following my group of 4 persons from behind; this is standard procedure when you are learning to lead divers. All went fine, but I still need to practice especially the briefing I give the divers before the dive. There are many things you need to cover; signals under water, procedure for the dive, what fish we may see etc. But I am sure I will get more chances to practice this.
Yesterday afternoon, I was in the Big Blue Diving shop. Dealing with customers going for dives , wanting accommodation or asking for prices on dive equipment. I was even cleaning a bit :-)
