With my 100th dive coming up, it is pretty bad that I forgot to sign up for the night dive today, where nudity is a bit more easy - unless all people point their torches towards me (and for those who did not yet read what you need to do on the 100th dive, well: Be naked :-)
So, I guess tomorrow some fish and not least quite a lot of divers may be a bit surprised - and the visibility these days under water is 'unfortunately' pretty good. I sure hope n
The two dives today, by the way, were really great. We saw a lot of things which are rarely seen around here; like Indian Walkman (a very poisonous fish that buries itself into the sand; a good reason not to kneel in sand link) and it was actually burying itself while we looked at it. We saw two Scorpion fish (again a very poisonous fish, link), we saw a number of porcupine fish (which - when threatened - can 'blow' themselves up; cute fellow, link). We also saw a freely swimming Morey eel (they usually hide in holes during day, see photo)
Finally, I am basically signed off from everything now, so just waiting for my 'challenge day'; which means leading the shop, a boat, a dive - and then afterward my 'dear' colleagues will come up with a lot of crazy games and stuff - to basically make me drunk :-). The snorkel test (picture link) used to be one of the favourite 'games', but it has been abandoned on the dive center after a fatality - happy for this being abandoned...
Greetings from another great day on Koh Tao, Thailand.
