My new home for a month or more...

My new home is on a small Island, on a quiet beach without any cars or moto-bikes. I arrived yesterday. As typical for the pretty Islamic northern Malysia, partying is only possible in a very few (tourist) places; on on my beach, there is only one of 7 resorts that serve alcohol. And only beer. No partying means more focus for me, which is good. Not that I partied anywhere nearly as much as my colleagues in Koh Tao, but
My new room is a small, basic room with a fan. The surroundings are very idyllic and peaceful.
Today, we had a few (heavy) rain showers, which actually is good for the climate (though it brings out the mosquitoes afterwards)
On this island there is much more animal life (above water) than on Koh Tao, but so far I have only seen a single monkey (tied with a rope, poor animal!)
