One day in Manila

I have now spent 24 hours in Manila, and I have seen nice and less nice areas of Makati. Compared to Boracay where the tourist police is quite active and visible, prostitution flourishes in Manila very openly. My hotel, Great Eastern Hotel, is pretty basic. The worst thing is that they have carpets on all floors. And unless you change carpets at least every 5-6 years they start being disgusting and smelly. But otherwise clean and nice hotel in the cheap end.
Tonight at 9 I will take a plane to Bangkok, and arrive around midnight there.
