A quiet day in Bangkok....



...One should imagine that because of the parliament election the streets would be full of people in the always buzzy Bangkok. Wrong. Today has probably been the most quiet day that I have ever spent in Bangkok. Maybe this means that there will be riots (or more likely) military in the streets tomorrow, I don't know.
I have seen thousands of tourist wandering the streets for a place to buy a beer. With no luck. Today is a ban day.

The current situation in Thailand is that the sister of the convicted and exiledThaksin will win. Which means that the military will most likely intervene again soon.
The thing is that no matter what people vote, the military will decide...
