From expert to pupil again

A funny little twist on this ‘holiday’ is that I go from being an ‘expert’ in my former job, to become basically a ‘student’ again. Today (16-Feb) I was in ‘school’ taking Emergency First Response (Danish: Førstehjælpskursus). In a few days I will take my ‘Rescue Diver Course’. Both are needed to become Dive Master – and to maybe become instructor later on. Becoming a Dive Master takes then from 3 weeks to several months. Many Dive Master students use 2-3 months; not so much because it is hard studying, but because they can go free diving throughout the entire education; so why not postpone your ‘graduation’? And the price for the course is the same no matter how long time you use.
