I managed to get 5.500 THB (around 1000 DKK) for it which is pretty ok compared to the quality of the device, but of course the buyer did not know that it switch off automatically every 5-30 minutes ;o)
I paid 17.000 for it originally (around 3000 DKK), but I have used it heavily for almost precisely one year (and I even wrote a book one it ;o). So it is not too bad to pay only 2000 DKK for having a computer for one year (even though it did make my grey hairs grow much more rapidly when it switched off all the time!).
My new Lenovo Computer also had some initial hickups, the touch-pad was crazy. This started after 5 days of use only! I read a number of articles on the internet, and concluded it was a hardware issue. So I went back to the shop, and even though they almost insisted that I should go to Lenovo myself, I convinced THEM to do it (they were not too happy, but this is the service that I expect). Ok, I paid a guy from the shop around 40 DKK for a taxi ride back and forth, and after 3 hours he came back, and Lenovo agreed it was a hardware problem, so they changed the entire frontplate of the computer (keypad area). Now I have a fully functional computer: For the first time in around 6 months! A computer that does not switch off every 5-30 minutes. And where the touchpad is working. Such a relief! There is nothing more frustrating in this world than when you waste your time by restarting your computer and when you have to re-do things you have already done 1 or even 2-3 times before.... So now I am finally happy again with my computer!
Thanks to Lenovo for a NOW working device - but I was very disappointed that it did not work initially (I basically had 2 computers, or around 7kg of hardware that did not work! - and yes, I have been carrying both computers around for several weeks, since I did not know which computer would work that specific day). Computer problems like this can drive even a man who has spent almost two years of 'holiday' crazy ;o), I would have expected better quality from Lenovo, but I will still say: STAY AWAY from Samsung! This is also what they told me in the shopping mall where I sold it - and the reason for the low price I got for it: Samsung has problems - and if you want to find or fix the problem it will cost a fortune! So out of around 20 shops that buy old computers, I find only ONE that would buy my Samsung. Good work Samsung! ;o). Anyway, I am happy for the price still....
But this seems to be a trend - make super cheap computers and then 10+% of them will fail!
