Koh Tao Festival

With Koh Tao Festival coming up in less than a week, many of my colleagues have for quite some time already been practicing the Thriller-dance (yes, the dance from the Michael Jackson music video), which is Big Blue Diving's contribution to the festival. I don't know exactly what happens at the festival yet, but that is usual here: You never know before last minute what is happening :-). Planning is not the strongest side, and Thai-time is a very flexible time unit. But this approach to life has its very positive sides also: What you don't accomplish today, you (may) accomplish tomorrow. So I will take the Koh Tao festival as it comes :-). Not saying that things are not hectic here once in a while (e.g. when assuring everyone and all equipment goes on a dive boat), but most times it is quite relaxed. And e.g. the course is done in the speed which each individual prefers. Some use 1 month, others 3. Some postpone all theory to last minute, and some get it done fast (like me). Some prefer studying with others, some do it alone. So very flexible like most other things in Thailand. The photos are from a small Thriller-practice on the beach before sunset, and relaxed sunset atmosphere; both from yesterday.
